Along with script writing, I planned out the shot list and camera movements. My responsibilites was to put my knowledge of camera angles and skills to best convey our story. I had planned out different camera set ups in our film locations prior to film days. Below are location scout images taken before film days. My team and I visited the locations to plan the various shots that we wanted for the film.

Reflection

As my first narrative short film, I learnt a lot about film production and team cooperation. It takes a lot of planning and understanding of the equipments to produce a well executed film. The biggest takeaway from this experience is the pre-production planning. A well-structured timeline of your project can lessen the stress on production and post-production.
